Our Story

New place brings new hopes. That is how our founder started a Facebook community called BWP Bangalore Women Power (https://www.facebook.com/groups/bangalorewomenpower)

Swati Gorantyal, Admin & Founder of Bangalore women Power started this community in 2018 with a hope to live her dream of empowering millions of women, encourage entrepreneurship, help, support, network and make friends like family in Bangalore. It is basically a tight knit support group to guide women in all the phases of life. Today, women still face biasness and challenges in day-to-day life; BWP is a platform where women share their happiness, struggles, discusses issues and others help them with solutions, recommendations, and celebrate each other’s success.

Our vision is to empower millions of women and make them financially independent.

We have grown organically to 1.07 lac members because of all initiatives we took in these 3 years.
Our most appreciated initiatives are –
1) BWP School – Learn Live from the Experts
2) BWP Flood Reliefs fund collection done for Kerala and Coorg (2018), Uttar Karnataka (2019)
3) BWP Karnataka Rajyotsava – Broken various stereotypes which was considered that women can’t do with participation of 700+ women under one roof.
4) www.klaasik.com
5) Jobs Openings and Referrals – Help people get maximum employment.

Over the period of running the community, we found that women who were making amazing authentic regional products at home were getting good buyers from the members of the community and were becoming financially independent. Therefore, we analyzed that similarly millions of women across India make amazing products at home but lack a structured platform to showcase their products and acquire consumers. We aim to organise this authentic “HomeMade” and “HandMade” products by providing them with the right resources (legal, skills, logistics, packaging) and lastly get them customers. Thereby creating a Brand Identity of their products across the globe. That is where the onset of www.Klaasik.com was started as an extension to our community which is an ecommerce platform of homemade and hand made products by women entrepreneurs to list their products across categories like home decor, clothing, jewellery, food and snacks, toys and much more.
