Homemade Bisibele Bhath Powder

Prepare Bisibele Bhath for a family of 4
Take ¼ cup of toor dal + ¼ cup rice + 3 cups of water + 1 cup vegetables + 1 pinch turmeric powder and cook for 2 to 4 whistles on a medium flame.
In a separate bowl, add a lemon sized tamarind and 1 tablespoon jaggery (optional). Set aside to soak.
Heat ½ tablespoon oil/ghee in a pan, crackle ½ tea spoon mustard + 1 spring curry leaves + 1 diced onion + 6 to 7 cashewnuts + 3/4th tablespoon salt + 4 teaspoons of MOR Bisibele Bhath Powder + soaked tamarind water and cook well. Transfer this masala to the pressure cooker and cook on low flame.
Serve with potato chips/ kaara boondi/ raita
